When I posted about clutter free kid gifts, there was also some talk about adult gifts. One of the ideas was gift cards to restaurants, which I agree are great! It’s always nice to get a gift card, but I tend to end up spending it on the kids instead of myself! A restaurant works well because either a family gift to begin with or, most likely, just a gift for DH and I!
I started thinking about gift cards to stores I like, and one that popped in my head was a craft store. What would I do with money to a craft store, if I was told I had to spend it just on myself? Well, to start…
Oh yeah, some wooden knitting needles. All sizes. All lengths. In a nifty holder.
And while we’re at it,
Why not? I may not be the world’s best knitter (or even close) but I enjoy it, and having the right tools would allow me to try different things!
You know what else looks cool? Knitting looms. Look, they even have one for socks!!
I think it goes without saying I’ll need lots of yarn…
And really, can you ever have too many pattern books?
We won’t get into all the little goodies…
Oh goodness… all this and I haven’t even gotten out of the knitting section! Now, if only I could find time to knit on here somewhere!
How about you? What store would you love a gift certificate to, and what would YOU buy yourself?
I *would* have said Borders, but we all know what happened there! I think a gift card for Amazon would be amazing. I could buy different hair tools, Blu-ray/DVDs, CDs, decorations, anything I wanted. I wouldn’t have to chose in advance! And yes, yarn and crochet supplies would be on that list of possible choices, too!
OH yes, Borders…. Ah, how I miss them… 😦
Amazon *would* be amazing!!! Oh my goodness… they would be WAY too much fun!
Don’t you mean *trouble*?
🙂 BOTH!
